Kazakhstan flora is rich in promising little-studied plants that are used in folk medicine, but additional deep research is required for their introduction into medical practice with the help of modern scientific techniques. An interesting object for introduction into the official medical and pharmaceutical practice is the Alfredia Nivea Kar. & Kir, family Asteraceae, whose extracts have a neurotropic effect. The aim. Regarding mentioned above, in order to create new medicines based on the grass of the Alfredia nivea, it is necessary to develop methods of its macro and microscopic identification. Materials and methods. Macro- and microscopic studies of the grass of Alfredia nivea were carried out in accordance with the methodology of SPhU 2.8.23 "Microscopic examination of medicinal vegetable raw materials". Macroscopic studies were performed using magnifying glass and binocular microscope MBS-9, microscopic-using MS Microscopes 10 (eyepiece X5, X10, X15, lenses x10, x40), micromed XS-4130 (WF15X, Opera, lens X40/0, 65, x10/0,25) with microphoto addon (China). Results. The morphological and anatomical features of the Alfredia nivea grass. Diagnostic features of the structure of stems, leaves and flowers of this species were revealed. Conclusions. The macroscopic and anatomical identification parameters of the grass of the Alfredia of Snow. The study of the morphological and anatomical features of the stems, leaves and flowers of Alfredia nivea, considering the requirements of European pharmacopoeia. Diagnostic features of the structure of stems, leaves and flowers of the species were found, which were used as key quality indicators for standardization and identification of raw materials
The Kazakhstan flora is rich in promising poorly-studied plants, which are traditionally used in folk medicine, but their introduction into medical practice requires additional in-depth research using modern scientific methods. Alfredia nivea KAR&KIR of the Asteraceae family, which is used in folk medicine as a neurotropic agent, is an interesting object for introduction into official medical and pharmaceutical practice.Aim. To create new medicines based on Alfredia nivea herb, it is necessary to develop methods for quality control of this raw material, therefore, the aim of the research was to determine the parameters for standardization of the Alfredia nivea KAR & KIR. herb.Materials and methods. The study objects were samples of the A. nivea herb collected in Kungei Alatau, 4.3 km southeast of the Karabulak village, Eastern Karabulak canyon, Almaty Region, Kazakhstan. The macroscopic and microscopic studies of the A. nivea herb were performed according to the methodology of the European pharmacopeia (EuPh) 2.8.23 “Microscopic examination of the medicinal plant raw material”. The macroscopic studies were performed using a magnifying glass and a MBS-9 binocular microscope, the microscopic studies were done using MS Microscopes 10 (oculars X5, X10, X15, lenses x10,x40), Micromed XS-4130 (oculars WF15X, lenses x40/0.65, x10/0.25) with a microphotonozzle (China). Identification of the main substances was carried out by the TLC method, testing and the quantitative determination of the flavonoid content were performed according to the EuPh methods. Results and discussion. Morphological and anatomical features of the A. nivea herb have been determined; on their basis Identifications A and B have been proposed; TLC Identification C of the main BAS of the raw material has been developed; indicators of purity tests have been determined. It has been proposed to carry out the quantitative determination by the content of flavonoids.Conclusions. The parameters of the A. nivea herb standardization have been determined on the basis of the following indicators: macroscopic and microscopic features, TLC identification of the main BAS of the raw material (hyperoside, rutin, quercetin and chlorogenic acid), related impurities (not more than 2 %), stems with a diameter of more than 20 mm (not more than 10 %), the loss on drying (not more than 13 %), the total ash (not more than 10 %) and at least 0.5 % flavonoids calculated with reference to rutin.
The pharmaceutical market in Kazakhstan is growing every year. Domestic companies increase domestic production of drugs and dietary supplements, which certainly contributes to the problem of import substitution. However, it is worth to pay attention to simpler medicines, which our citizens use practically every day. Such drugs include liquids for resorption, which relieve unpleasant symptoms of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the mouth and throat, improving the quality of life. It is worth paying attention to this market segment, which amounts to millions of U.S. dollars. We have carried out a detailed marketing analysis of the dosage forms market for resorption in Republic of Kazakhstan. The data on the share of foreign and domestic manufacturers and market volumes for 2019-2020 are presented.
Background: This work was conducted in the framework of quality by design project involving the production of a pharmaceutical gel. Preliminary work included the identification of the quality target product profiles from historical values for previously laboratory batches, which were used to construct a D-optimal experimental design. Fungal disease of mycoses has long been known, since the days of antiquity. Our research gel high pharmacological effect (antifungal) in comparison with the drugs "Flucytosine" and "Fucis". Aims and Objectives: The purpose of this study is to develop the optimal composition and rational gel technology under the conventional name "Antiсandid" on the basis of the substance piperidinylethanone with an antifungal effect. Materials and Methods: Thermogravimetric analysis and rotational viscometry, which affect the process of the formation of carbopol, were taken. Based on the physicochemical properties and technological properties of the gel, an optimal solvent system is selected that corresponds to the maximum solubility of the drug substances and ensures polymer swelling. At the same time, the materials dimexide (DMSO), propylene glycol (PG), carbol-floor, and triethanol were taken into account, which improve the process of solubility and gelling. Results: The results were obtained, which, when the active substance is administered in the dissolved state, is the most therapeutic effect on the gel base. At the same time, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) were dissolved in different solvents with gradual heating. The ratio of solvents DMSO-PG-water (1:4:1) at which the developed dosage form will be more structured, stable, and thixotropic is established. Conclusion: Fungal skin diseases are one of the most frequently discussed problems in various dermatological forums and in the pages of scientific journals. The relevance of this topic is determined by the high prevalence of this pathology, which, according to the literature, accounts for 37-42% of all skin diseases. The results of the studies on the study of the microbiological, physicochemical properties of APIs, and carbopol Ultrez 20 for the development of optimal composition are taken into account. It was found that the gel model with an active substance content of 3% is more effective and has high antifungal activity.
