The aim is to investigate the state of health of the students of Ukrainian higher education institutions. Materials and methods: The study of state of health was conducted at Polissia National University and Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University in 2008-2019. The results of a medical examination of 3737 students of different faculties between the ages of 17 and 22 were examined. Medical examinations were conducted by the doctors of the medical centers of universities. Totally 1208 pupils (male and female) of the schools of Zhytomyr region were involved in the questionnaire, which was conducted to analyze the attendance of physical education classes by pupils while studying at school. 648 students of Polissia National University participated in the study of the self-assessment of their own health, causes, and structure of disease incidence, the dynamics of the loss of labor capacity. Results: It was established that from 24 to 30.8 % of the students had diseases and a low level of physical development that indicated a low level of physical education at schools. It was revealed that the number of sick students was increasing during the study at higher educational institutions (HEI) that led to missing classes. Besides, up to 35.5 % of students had health disorders and belonged to a special medical group. And 1.7 % of the students had chronic diseases and disabilities and were exempted from sports. It was found that physical education and sports took the 5th place in the system of life values of male students and the 12th place in the system of life values of female students. Conclusions: Physical education, aimed at enhancing the functional capacity of an organism, the development of physical qualities, the improvement of the special physical and technical readiness in the sphere of physical activity types and the acquisition of professionally applied skills and abilities, is the basis for strengthening the health of students of Ukraine.
The article gives the results of the research on the influence of a developed complex liposomal preparation on the dynamics of morphological and biochemical indicators of the blood of rats subjected to modeled oxidative stress caused by intermuscular injection of 50% carbon tetrachloride at a dose of 0.25 ml per 100 g of body mass. We found that in conditions of intoxication by carbon tetrachloride, the physiological level of hematological indicators of the researched animals’ body was disrupted. This is indicated by the reduction in the amount of erythrocytes, hemoglobin content, concentration of hemoglobin per erythrocyte, increase in the amount of leucocytes, mass of hemoglobin per erythrocyte and increase of colour indicator. Also, we detected suppression of protein synthesis function of the liver. The levels of total protein and albumin fraction were below the normal physiological level. High indicators were observed in the levels of creatinine, urea and total bilirubin. In order to normalize the functional state of the liver under oxidative stress it is reasonable to use a liposomal preparation which contains butafosfan, interferon, thistle and vitamins. In order to normalize morphological and biochemical indicators of the blood of rats subject to intoxication of carbon tetrachloride it is reasonable to use a liposomal preparation that contains butafosfan, selenium, thistle, methionine and vitamins. Using the liposomal preparation Butaselmevit for rats under oxidative stress the morphological and biochemical indicators in the blood normalized. On the 14th day the indictors of the number of erythrocytes, the hemoglobin content, the white blood cell count and red blood indexes compared to control came within the physiological indicators, indicating a recovery of hematopoietic function of the bone marrow and normalized indicators of the functional state of the liver.
In modern socioeconomic conditions professional training of students in higher educational institutions is of great importance, which most concretely represents the principle of organic connection of physical education with the practice of work. The assistance in the preparation of harmoniously, highly skilled specialists is the purpose of physical education in educational institutions. In the process of training from the course of physical education, the tasks are to be solved: education of students of high moral, volitional and physical qualities, readiness for highly productive work; preservation and strengthening of health, assistance in the correct formation and comprehensive development of the organism, support of high working capacity throughout the period of training; comprehensive physical training of students; their profile physical training taking into account the peculiarities of future labor activity; acquisition of students the necessary knowledge on the basics of theory, methodology and organization of physical education and sports training; education of students convinced of the need to regularly engage in physical education and sports. Ukraine has a wide range of activities that create the necessary working and living conditions, improve the external environment, including the production environment, the further development of health care. At the same time, human activity, physical culture and sports are important factors for improvement, health promotion, which ultimately enhances the creative activity of man and his ability to work. Physical culture is an integral part of human life. Physical exercises play a significant role in the ability of members of society, which is why knowledge and skills in physical culture should be laid out in educational institutions of different levels in stages. Despite the scientific achievements in the physical education and sport system, most of the issues of professional training were left out of the attention of domestic and foreign physicists and sports scientists. Taking into account this, we faced the task of developing an educational model of the professional physical training of students of the specialty of production and processing of livestock products and to identify the main components of the content of profiling physical training. We have developed the content of the curriculum for students of the specialization of the production and processing of livestock products, which consisted of two blocks: physical education and physical training.
