The review of soil types prevailing in Western Siberia of the Russian Federation is presented. The compositions and physical and mechanical properties of soils are analyzed. Special attention is paid to loess subsidence soils. The problem of obtaining a homogeneous cement-ground mixture is formulated and set. The technological scheme of production of cement-ground piles of foundations of buildings and structures by drilling-mixing method with mechanical activation is considered. Considers methods of strengthening the loess subsidence of soils. Methods for studying the properties of cement-based piles of foundations of buildings and structures are formulated. A multi-factor experiment was conducted to evaluate the parameters that affect the properties of cement-based piles. Based on the research results, conclusions and recommendations are formulated.
This paper offers a model of loading of the transmission elements at controlled curvilinear motion of the tracked timber harvesting machine. This model is based on evaluation of the effect of the external and internal factors on the loading of the tracked machine transmission. The main loads in the transmission result from the external action of the ground contacting area during the vehicle movement.
The strength and strains of the wood-cement composite primarily depend on the main technоlogical factors such as the used type of binder and wood filler, the method of wood filler preparation, the method of molding, the conditions of hardening. The aim of this work is an experimental study of the chemical additives influence on wood filler to localize the harmful effects of water-soluble wood substances on the processes of hydration and hardening of cement. Using the additives, it is possible to achieve satisfactory strength parameters even on green wood. The maximum strength was obtained when complex chemical additives were applied. The most effective additives involved calcium chloride, liquid glass, aluminum sulfate, lime and ethanolamines. The optimal consumption and ratio of the complex additives components costs also depend on the degree of preliminary wood exposure.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
