The effect has been established consisting in the change of the properties of silicon samples under irradiation by the light of another silicon sample located as far as several centimeters from the first one. The effect is observed when both samples are in contact with the “fluoroplastic – water solution of NaCl” or “Na-containing glass – water” systems. The results are interpreted basing on the previously suggested model assuming the excitation hypersound waves in the “silicon – native oxide” system and on the hypothesis about the propagation of the waves along the “water environment – solid” interface stimulated by the existence of Na+-(H2O)n clusters.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
