The optical spectra of samples of double zirconium molybdates activated by rare-earth Pr^3+ and Nd^3+ ions are studied. The presence of bands corresponding to the 4 f –4 f transitions of Pr^3+ and Nd^3+ trivalent ions in the absorption, excitation, and luminescence spectra is shown. A strong dependence of the luminescence intensity of Pr^3+ ions on temperature is revealed.
