In this work, the stress-strain state of solid ball subjected to uniform thermal action is determined in an analytical form and assumptions about of the influence of the dependence of the yield strength on the temperature field on it are introduced. The continuous medium model proposed by A. N. Sporykhin (a model of a hardening elastoviscoplastic material) is considered as the ball material. The solution of the problem is a generalization of the already known approach to the case of a polynomial dependence of the yield strength on temperature. As a result of computation, numerical values of the basic quantities were obtained, and a comparison was made of materials whose yield strength is determined by constant, linear and quadratic functions.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
