The purpose of this study is to examine online communication as a tool for managing rehabilitation of patients with musculoskeletal pathologies. We have developed a system of interactive personalized online monitoring and feedback between patients and medical organizations. The system functions as a web application. It has proved successful in the frame of practical tests in 2018-2019. Our outcomes show that the proposed online service is an effective tool for managing rehabilitation after joint replacement. The patients benefited from online medical monitoring and social support during postoperative rehabilitation.
The tendency of technological overcome temporal limitations has become the basis for the introduction of the term "chronohacking" into scientific use. Within the framework of this article, the authors are trying to trace the prospects of chronohacking in the context of transformations of biopolitics in the digital age. Due to the fact that chronopolitics becomes network, the coordination of people and technology objects ("non-humans") leads to the appearance of multiple temporality modes. New digital biopolitics form the medial somatic experience of subjective time perception. Nets become a testing ground over time. They are provided within the framework of neurocentric practices of techno-pharmacological effects on the human brain in order to treat, improve and study a person named as neurohacking. The most common forms of neuroscience are the practice of self-tracking and self-logging using digital gadgets. By forming a calculable physicality, neuroscience quantifies ideas about the dynamics of the interaction of social bodies, centering them on the knowing Self. Overcoming the alienation caused by classical biopolitics, neuroscience provides a quick routinization of quantifying devices coupled/subordinate to digital biopolitics networks, including in the format of virtual and augmented reality. Unlike classical chronopolitics, digital chronopolitics not so much coordinates bodies as modifies subjective temporality, subjecting it to the experience of a discrete presence in digital worlds connected through quantification tools. This leads to the fact that through new biomedical technologies, temporary jumps at both the gene and societal levels are routinized due to the radicalization of high-tech time in the pandemic era of quarantine and remote communication. Cyberspaces of computer games, working out experiments on time experiences, supported by temporal cultural experiments, connected to the same devices that audit somatic quantification, ensure the pluralism of subjective perceptions of various social activities.
Introduction. The study’s relevance is determined by the necessity to develop an effective organizing tool that provides management of the rehabilitation process after joint arthroplasty. Purpose. Study of online communication possibilities in managing the process of patients’ rehabilitation after joint arthroplasty in their motivation to maintain labour activity. Material and methods. In 2019-2020 with the System of interactive personalized monitoring and feedback (SMF) developed as a web application it was conducted a medical and sociological study which included 93 patients underwent hip and knee arthroplasty six months before.. Results. It is revealed an unsatisfactory assessment of rehabilitation provided at the place of patients’ residence (34.4% noted the absence of rehabilitation measures, 12.9% noted a formal extension of disability certificate). Expected results of rehabilitation are associated with overcoming pain and limitation in movements (49.5%) and a return to previous professional duties (32.3%). 77.4% of patients expressed interest in using the online service for communication with a qualified specialist. Significant functions of online service for respondents are: monitoring the rehabilitation process and individual recommendations (50.5%); receiving online consultation (41.9%). 95.7% of patients confirmed their readiness to follow online recommendations regarding rehabilitation. Discussion. Lack of comprehensive rehabilitation is a significant medical and socio-economic constraint at the institutional and individual levels. Studies of organizational parameters of the rehabilitation process indicate a discrepancy between the expectations of patients and their actual state. Analysis of the results proves that it is advisable to supplement existing rehabilitation practice after providing resource-intensive medical care with the functionality of online communication. Conclusion. Developed online communication service is an effective tool for managing the rehabilitation of patients after joint replacement that is relevant for developing their labour activity motivation.
