The magnitude of the EIT peak splitting is proportional to the MW-radiation electric field. Simple approximation equations are derived for evaluating numerically the amplitude of transition between Rydberg nD5/2 and (n+1)P3/2 states with high principal quantum numbers n. An experimental setup is constructed for measuring the MW electric field on the basis of the EIT resonance-splitting measurements in absorption spectra of a probe radiation.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
