Произведен анализ демографической ситуации в Чувашской Республике в разрезе городского и сельского населения. На основе изучения основных тенденций последних лет выделены угрозы, потенциально способные углубить состояние депрессии, в которой находится демография. Обозначены признаки критического уровня угроз на селе. The analysis of the demographic situation in the Chuvash Republic in the context of the urban and rural population is carried out.
