The transition of the educational system in the Philippines vastly affects basic and higher education. A mismatch of pre-requisite Mathematics learning competencies from the basic education level occurred when the student reached higher education. This descriptive-developmental method of the study utilized the developed contextualized learning modules for the bridging course on the identified learning gaps in Calculus with Analytic Geometry for the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) major in Mathematics. Real-world concepts and situations featuring the Province of Sorsogon, Philippines were integrated into the learning modules while promoting independent learning. The content, format, presentations and organizations, accuracy, and up-to-datedness of information of the learning modules passed the evaluation of 13 experts (Mathematics Professors) from the different Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Bicol Region, Philippines. Also, the 18 student participants were very much satisfied with the utilization of the learning modules that bridged their learning gaps in the conic section through independent learning.
The article relevance. Modern concepts of education development, recognition of the uniqueness and self-worth of human individuality have led to the search for ways to socialize individuals with disabilities, to the development of new pedagogical strategies aimed at developing ideas of independent life for this category of the population. The research purpose is to study the features and identify ways to improve the quality of inclusive education. Research methods: as a research method, we used a questionnaire survey as a method of collecting primary information, which allows us to identify various aspects related to the problems of formation and perception of inclusive education by participants in the educational process. Research results: the article describes the peculiarity of the current stage of inclusive education development, analyzes the social mechanisms for improving the quality of inclusive education.
This article is focused on the development of organizational and pedagogical conditions of college students' vocational training in terms of social partnership and experimental study of their effectiveness. The leading methods in the study of this problem are the observations, conversations, monitoring, questioning, psychological testing and pedagogical experiment, allowing checking of the effectiveness of the proposed organizational and pedagogical conditions of students' vocational training in terms of social partnership. The article deals with the role of social partnership of colleges and enterprises; identifies organizational and pedagogical conditions of students' vocational training in terms of social partnership between the college and the company; justifies forms of cooperation between the educational institutions and its social partners; identifies criteria for production and pedagogical management of students' vocational training in the conditions of Social Partnership between the college and the company; proves the effectiveness of college students' vocational training in the conditions of social partnership. The paper submissions are of a definite value in the organization of social partnership in the system of secondary and higher vocational education.
Purpose of the study: Since the new generation is the main entity of material and social benefits' renewal process of any state, the article aims to identify the students' attitude to the demographic situation in Russia. It is the younger generation of different age groups that is the main labor unit of the state population. Relevant is the fact that the issues of demography are a global challenge of self-organizing society. The purpose of the article is to identify the students' attitude to the demographic situation in Russia, as well as to consider various models of reproductive behavior. Methodology:The leading methods for the study of this problem is the survey method, which allows to make a qualitative analysis of the characteristics of the students' attitude to the demographic situation in Russia and to establish the subjective position of students regarding demographic development. Results:The article reveals that the following administrative and legal measures contribute to the improvement of the demographic situation in the country (legislative acts regulating the marriage age, divorce, attitude to abortion and contraception, the status of mother and children in the divorce, working women's labor regime); economic measures (paid leave, various benefits at child's birth, preferential credit conditions if necessary, tax and housing benefits); educational measures (formation of public opinion, the core and standards of demographic behavior, determination of attitude to religious norms, traditions and customs, family planning policy, sexual education of youth). The authors established a high level of awareness of students about the demographic situation in the country; the presence of anxiety about this situation. Applications of this study:The data obtained in the work can be used in sociology, social psychology, political science, as well as for further theoretical development of this issue.Novelty/Originality of this study: The study revealed a high level of awareness of young people about the demographic situation in the country, certain anxiety about this situation. However, young people are not in a hurry to participate in the solution of demographic problems, referring mainly to the difficulties of material nature. Nowadays, various transformations are taking place in higher education in Russia, which is primarily determined by the fact that the issue of ensuring the quality of educational services, increasing the requirements for the level of university graduates - future specialists and the introduction of new teaching methods is quite acute. The research aims to study the peculiarities of students' perception of the quality of education. As a research method, we used a questionnaire survey to quickly and effectively investigate students' idea of the quality of educational services provided to them. The article examines students' attitude to the education they receive and reveals the students' representation of the demand for the education they receive in the labor market. The study's novelty and originality lie in the fact that students' ideas about the quality of educational services are considered. It is revealed that the knowledge that graduates receive is evaluated as high quality, and several shortcomings identified by students in professional training (insufficient knowledge of practical skills, foreign languages) are revealed. It is shown that according to graduates, the level of training of specialists mainly meets the requirements of the labor market. The practical significance of the data obtained in this work lies in their use in social psychology, age psychology, marketing, and further theoretical development of this issue.
