Distance education, frequent lockdowns caused by a coronavirus pandemic have led to a lack of physical activity, limited opportunities for people to play sports, which in turn has had a negative impact on health and especially on students' indicators of physical development.Physical development of students is one of the important integral indicators of their health, adaptation to environmental factors, living conditions, learning [5]. Therefore, in modern conditions of social changes this topic is relevant.Goal. Indicators analysis of medical students' physical development during distance education caused by a coronavirus pandemic.Research methods. Analysis and generalization, pedagogical observation, methods of mathematical statistics.Research organization. The study involved 259 first-and second-year students of the medical faculty of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical National University, including 129 girls and 130 boys. To determine the main indicators of physical development, we used a height meter, a centimeter tape and weights.Research results and discussion. Analysis of the data showed that the body weight of both boys and girls ranged widely. The average body weight of the boys was about 80 kg, with a minimum of 59 kg and a maximum of 93 kg, respectively. It should be noted that the results obtained by us significantly exceed the data obtained by a significant number of scientists [4][5][6]8]. This, in turn, may indicate,on the one hand,on the phenotypic changes of the organism, taking into account the length of the body, on the other -about excess body weight due to lack of physical activity and other external factors. After all, body mass indicators stabilize up to 17-18 years. Everything that happens with body weight and body length at an older age is related to the peculiarities of human life. [3] The same tendency was observed as a result of the analysis of body weight of girls. The obtained data ranged in a wide range: 49-85 kg, and the average was about 63 kg. The data obtained by us confirm the research of Beigul I.O.[1], but significantly exceed the results obtained by other scientists who studied this issue [4, 6-8, etc.].26.
