The strategic task of the world community is to create a global network of environmental education, in which all educational systems include acquaintance with environmental problems faced by humanity, and form an understanding of the interconnection of man, society and nature on a global scale. The article is devoted to the study of basic provisions and current trends in the formation of innovative processes of globalization of education, in particular, environmental education. Environmental education can be defined as the process of acquiring knowledge of environmental problems, the reasons for their occurrence, the need and the possibilities for their solution. Understood in this way, it should contribute to the formation of environmental awareness and to the development of ecological culture as integral components of the concept of environmental policy aimed at preserving the environment. It has been established that globalization processes in education are universal, they are not inherently essential to the industry-specific training of specialists. Digital transformation, international governmental and institutional agreements, competition relations are the main drivers for the development of environmental education.

Abstract. The article contains the results of development of additional professional education research, including the field of mineral resource extracting in Russia. The paper describes the levels of education received in Russian Federation and determines the place and role of additional professional education among them. Key factors influencing the development of additional professional education are identified. As a result of the research, the authors proved the necessity of introducing additional professional education programs on educational Internet platforms for mineral resource extracting.

Abstract. The article describes the results of the study on determining the influence of mining companies on the level of social development of the regions in which they are functioning. The analysis of formation and distribution structure of taxes, the dynamics of average wages, the quality of life, social satisfaction and entrepreneurial confidence allow the authors to make the conclusions about the need for changing the financial policies of the regions in relation to companies in the industry. In particular, it is proposed to use the mechanism of deferred tax payments which will lead to an increase in the efficiency of the activities of both the mining companies themselves and the regions afterward.

The article reflects some aspects of the authors’ research on issues related to the growth of mining companies. The authors analyzed the main approaches to assessing growth, revealed correlation dependencies between them, as well as factors of the industry and macroeconomic level. The study allows concluding that not all proposed models show the same dynamic trends, as a result, the authors proposed a reasonable choice of one of the models. The authors found that the important factors the development of which is necessary for the growth of companies and the mining industry as a whole are the restructuring of the business model, the transition to more active use of digital technologies and overcoming the effects of the pandemic. In addition, it is important for companies to maintain demand for their products, the achievement of which feasible through access to e- commerce sites and real-time trading.

The establishment of an accurate assessment of the financial stability of the organization is particularly relevant in a period of unstable economic situation. The reliability of the models and methods used in assessing the likelihood of insolvency (bankruptcy) is a key factor in the effectiveness of monitoring the financial stability of an organization. A comparative evaluation of the accuracy of domestic models was carried out based on a study of 709 operating companies and 1,124 bankrupt companies. As a result, a technique was revealed that showed the most accurate results, which will allow financial services to improve the accuracy of the assessment and reduce the time for its implementation.
