The paper describes the structure of a hardware and software complex for monitoring and diagnostics of the contact network, provides information about the hardware blocks of the complex, considers its implementation in Matlab/Simulink, describes the regularities of change of vibration frequency under different values of tension and the linear mass of wires.

In the article the results of experimental research and calculation of wear of current collector system elements of electric transport are presented.
