The article presents the results of studies of deep wells in VagayIshim depression in the territory of Kurgan region. These wells are characterized by the indications of petroleum potential in them. It means that the southern part of the West Siberian oil and gas province is oil-bearing. Conclusions are drawn that it is possible to detect hydrocarbon deposits in depths in the territory of Kurgan region.
The paper considers the cycling process as a method of gas condensate fields development by maintaining reservoir pressure through a reverse injection of gas into the productive horizon. The reservoir pressure maintenance impedes the liberation of high boiling hydrocarbons from the reservoir gas occurred due to retrograde condensation, which generate the gas condensate (which otherwise is practically lost). The experience of the cycling process realization proves its high technological and economic efficiency.
The waters of oil fields are characterized by low concentrations of iodine. It is required to create new technologies for the extraction of iodine from groundwater, which will reduce the iodine deficiency in Russia. It is necessary to organize the production of iodine from oil waters, in order not to depend on imports. The construction of new factories producing iodine is extremely timeconsuming and costly. Therefore, the issue of the integrated use of produced water requires an immediate solution not only in Western Siberia, but throughout the country. This requires work on new technologies to maximize the use and application of groundwater in order to get that done. The availability of cheap iodine in unlimited quantities can influence new nanotechnologies, contribute to the creation of points of growth for various industries (lasers, computers, etc.).
The X oil and gas condensate field is located in Parabel district of Tomsk region; the field is large in terms of recoverable reserves. Oil and gas content is confined to Jurassic sediments of Tyumen suite and Vasyugan suite. The reservoirs of the Vasyugan suite are marine and coastal-marine sediments, characterized by alternating sandstones, mudstones, siltstones, clays and exhibit complex internal aging. The productive deposits of the Tyumen suite are of continental origin and are distinguished by significant lithological variability. One oil deposit (J11 stratum), one gas and oil deposit (J12 stratum) and three gas condensate deposits (J13-4, J3, J4-5 strata) were identified in the productive formations. The article analyzes the features of the geological structure and conditions of sedimentation of productive strata. In terms of its phase state and physicochemical proper-ties, the fluid of the J11 deposit is a "volatile oil", phase state of which is close to the near-critical. Reservoirs of productive formations are of terrigenous type, porous, low-permeability, while the oil productivity of the formations is high due to the ultra-low oil viscosity.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
