The article provides an analysis of the state of knowledge of mycobiota in the context of subjects on the territory of the Russian Caucasus. The regional Red Books were analyzed for the content of rare taxa. The question is raised about the need to train highly qualified personnel in the field of mycology. A review of some publications of mycologists of the North Caucasus and South Federal Districts is made.

Резюме. В статье приводятся результаты исследований биоморфного состава 19 видов рода Allium L. Кавказа и влияния лабильности жизненной формы растений на возрастную структуру ценопопуляций. Abstract. Results of researches of biomorphic structure of 19 caucasian species of the genus Allium L. and influence of vital form lability on age structure of cenopopulations are given.

The economic and resource structure of the rare fraction of the natural flora of Kabardino-Balkaria is considered. The reasons for the rarity of decorative, food, fodder, medicinal, wood-cellulose and melliferous groups of plants are analyzed on the basis of our own data, literary and archival materials.
