Государственный университет по землеустройству. Россия, 105064, Москва, ул. Казакова, 15 Поступила в апреле 2018 г. The article deals with the interrelation between the architecture of the dwelling and the natural environment, the need for unity with nature is explored, and the prospects for "green" design are revealed. Currently, the deterioration of the environmental situation and the use of materials and technologies in the architecture that often do not meet environmental requirements, the modern architectural community is thinking about the environmental aspect in designing as the basis for creating an enabling environment for people. Considering the ecology of the architectural environment, and in particular the ecology of the dwelling, we have in mind primarily a connection with nature: it is natural resources that preserve the energy efficiency of buildings, and it is nature that in turn forms an environmentally friendly environment. In addition to solving the problem of energy conservation, it is important to establish a connection between architecture and the natural environment at the worldview level, which reveals the need for integrating architecture into nature. "Green" architecture is an actual direction in modern design, and one of the elements of an ecological approach in architecture is the inextricable link with the natural aspect.
The project of the skete for the Holy Trinity Antony of Siya monastery is presented. On the base of this project a model of the whole skete complex, which is intended for accomodation of 5–7 people, is developed. We justify the design of the general plan and of the architectural composition of the skete. The construction of the whole skete, as well as the functional relationships between its premises are analyzed.
