The study examines the features of distance learning for university students from different countries. The current problem has escalated during the pandemic to ensure the safety of students and university staff. The authors pay great attention to the peculiarities of distance learning in Russia, based on an analysis of the literature and regulatory documents. The results obtained show that most universities provide distance learning on modern technical, software, subject, methodological, administrative and management basis and cloud of service support.

The article is concerned with a search of new methods, forms and technologies in a sphere of education to improve the efficiency of teachers’ work at the present time. The authors mark the priority directions of the education system development: (1) creation of a high quality, technological infrastructure of the education system; (2) the use of innovative methods and educational technologies; (3) development of new technologies for educational purposes. The article deals with ICT, e-learning, blockchain, VR-technologies, augmented reality technologies, etc.

The article focuses one-learning in the context of changing goals and the paradigm of Russian e-ducation. The authors present a review of modern researchers main ideas concerning the problem of introducing an information electronic educational environment in the practice of higher education institutions. It is concluded that the implementation of an innovative conceptual model will contribute to the formation and development of a competitive educational organization at the national and international levels.
