Анализ типизированных зависимостей включения с неопределенными значениями Зыкин В. С., Зыкин С. В. получена 24 августа 2016Аннотация. Неопределенные значения стали актуальной проблемой с момента создания ре-ляционной модели данных. Влияние неопределенностей сказывается на всех видах зависимостей, используемых при проектировании и эксплуатации базы данных. В полной мере это относится и к зависимостям включения, которые являются теоретической основой ссылочной целостности на данные. Попытки решения указанной проблемы содержат неточности как в постановке задачи, так и в самом ее решении. К постановочным ошибкам можно отнести использование в определе-нии нетипизированных зависимостей включения, что приводит к перестановкам атрибутов, хотя в технологиях баз данных атрибуты идентифицируются по имени, а не по их позиции. Кроме того, связывание зависимостью включения разнородных, пусть даже однотипных, атрибутов является признаком потерянной функциональной зависимости и приводит к взаимодействию нетривиаль-ных зависимостей включения и функциональных зависимостей. Зависимости включения должны определять количественное соотнесение объектов друг с другом, а не значений атрибутов. Неточ-ности в решении указанной проблемы содержатся в формулировках аксиом и доказательстве их свойств, в том числе полноты. В этой статье предлагается оригинальное решение этой пробле-мы только для типизированных зависимостей включения при наличии неопределенных значений: предложена система аксиом, доказана ее полнота и непротиворечивость. На основе правил вы-вода разработан алгоритм построения не избыточного множества типизированных зависимостей включения. We propose a new method of client-side data caching for relational databases with a central server and distant clients. Data are loaded into the client cache based on queries executed on the server. Every query has the corresponding DB tablethe result of the query execution. These queries have a special form called "universal relational query" based on three fundamental Relational Algebra operations: selection, projection and natural join. We have to mention that such a form is the closest one to the natural language and the majority of database search queries can be expressed in this way. Besides, this form allows us to analyze query correctness by checking lossless join property. A subsequent query may be executed in a client's local cache if we can determine that the query result is entirely contained in the cache. For this we compare truth spaces of the logical restrictions in a new user's query and the results of the queries execution in the cache. Such a comparison can be performed analytically , without need in additional Database queries. This method may be used to define lacking data in the cache and execute the query on the server only for these data. To do this the analytical approach is also used, what distinguishes our paper from the existing technologies. We propose four theorems for testing the required conditions. The first and the third theorems conditions allow us to define the existence of required data in cache. The second and the fourth theorems state conditions to execute queries with cache only. The problem of cache data actualizations is not discussed in this paper. However, it can be solved by cataloging queries on the server and their serving by triggers in background mode.

In this paper a generalisation of the inference rules of the join dependencies that are used in the design of database schemas that meets the requirements of the h normal form is considered. In the previous works devoted to this problem, a empts to construct systems of the axioms of such dependencies based on inference rules are made. However, while the justi cation for the consistency (soundness) of the obtained axioms does not cause di culties, the proof of completeness in general has not been satisfactorily resolved. First of all, this is due to the limitations of the inference rules themselves.is work focuses on two original axiom systems presented in the works of Sciore and Malvestuto. For the inclusion dependencies a system of rules that generalises existing systems and has fewer restrictions has been obtained. e paper presents a proof of the derivability of known systems of axioms from the presented inference rules. In addition, evidence of the consistency (soundness) of these rules is provided. e question of the completeness of the formal system based on the presented rules did not nd a positive solution. In conclusion, the theoretical and practical signi cance of the inference rules for the join dependencies is noted.
