Due to intense competition in market, the companies are in need of improving their customer convenience services, in order to keep their market share and to enhance it.Tehran meat production company (Solico) is one of the companies, which is active in packaging fresh chicken slices in both raw and processed form, whose region of marketing activities is mostly in Tehran northern areas (which encompass ١ st to ٨ th municipal divisions). This company compete with different companies such as: Mahya protein, Pouya protein, Ronak Protein and Samaneh Ava Protein.The objective of this paper is to find solutions to expand the market share of this company by implementation of Delphi method among a number of expert of the company. After finding the solutions, their priorities have been investigated by the experts and one of the solutions with high priority will be analyze by utilizing mathematical approaches. The selected solution suggested sending the products in the second working shift (afternoon and night). In order to achieve an operational condition related to the above solution, we found an appropriate location based on facility location approach.Facility location includes finding the optimal location of one or more new facilities considering the location of available facilities and related limitations, so that optimizes the specific objective function. Placing new facilities in proper location improves flow of materials and services for customers and plays an integral rule in gaining and keeping competitive advantages in the market.This paper aims at facility location and benefit-cost analysis of starting up a dual purpose distribution center. The mentioned distribution center is going to be built in order to compensate the shortage of products in retail selling units in the second working shift. In addition, this unit can act as a shopping center and moreover the products can be displayed and advertised in this site.
