Abstract: SR mapping may be helpful in identifying critical sites of reentry in postinfarction VT. At sites within the reentry circuit, characteristics of sinus rhythm EGM's that are associated with successful ablation include the presence of IP's, but not the presence of LP's.

“…Models of dusty tori in active galactic nuclei (AGN; Pier & Krolik 1992;Granato & Danese 1994;Efstathiou & Rowan-Robinson 1995) also suggest that the optical depths of type 2 objects are at least as high. Observations of galaxies with ISO seem to have detected colder dust than observed by IRAS (Bogun et al 1996;Kru Ègel et al 1998).…”

“…14 As the majority of scar-related VT is hemodynamically untolerated, surrogates in sinus rhythm for sites critical to reentry are desirable and late potentials (LP) in sinus rhythm have become a common ablation target as they exhibit a high sensitivity, albeit with variable specificity. 57 A commonly employed strategy for VT ablation is the tagging and targeting of abnormal electrograms with local conduction delay on a voltage-based EAM. However, amongst all identified LP in a given substrate, it is not known which zone of late activation most commonly provides the substrate for reentry.…”
