10 mW of blue laser radiation by intracavity frequency doubling of a diode- pumped Cr:LiSrAIF/sub 6/

Abstract: 0 4 0 6 0 8 1 1 2 1 4 Fundamental Output Capacity (W) ThA2 Fig. 3. Measured UV output vs. laser capacity of fundamental output. 477 nm and d,, = -2.2 d,(KDP), respectively. It can be easily grown in large size from its congruent melting with so-called top-seeding method. A 5-mm CLBO crystal is used for Type-I critically phasematched SHG at 800 nm in our experiment. Experimental results will be described in the meeting.

“…In SHG lasers in the blue region, the generation of blue light at 473 nm [3] in KN (KNbO 3 ) crystals with a 946-nm fundamental wave from a Nd:YAG (Y 3 Al 5 O 12 ) crystal, and from Cr:Li-SAF (LiSrAlF 6 ) crystal in combination with LIO (LiIO 3 ) [4], KN [5], and LBO (LiB 3 O 5 ) crystals [6], has been reported. The authors have developed and fabricated an internal resonator-type blue-light SHG light source [7,8] at 430 nm using a combination of Cr:LiSAF and LBO crystals, and there are hopes of achieving further increases in output.…”
