Abstract: INTRODUCTION: Screening colonoscopy is an integral but underutilized diagnostic tool in preventing colorectal cancer (CRC). Reasons for delays in CRC screening include incorrect referrals, shortage of physician availability and endoscopy capacity, and limited access to care for uninsured and minority patients.
