Abstract:In contrast to the current trend to higher DC voltages in BEVs (400 V to 800 V), the new and innovative electrical drive system ISCAD (Intelligent Stator CAge Drive) is based on a voltage level of 48 V. ISCAD is being developed at the FEAAM GmbH in cooperation with the Universität der Bundeswehr in Munich. A reduction of more than 20 % of energy demand in a driving cycle is simulated in comparison to a reference vehicle.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
