62. Therapie des Hodenhochstandes aus pdiatrischer Sicht

Abstract: Testicular descent and fertility seem to depend upon the normal structural and functional development of the testes and their adequate hormonal stimulation. Ultimately, both appear to be mediated by androgens. Maldescent is correlated with diminutions of both Leydig cells and spermatogonia when existent beyond the second year of life. Therefore, treatment of maldescent before two years of age is mandatory. Whenever possible a gonadotrophin-induced descent using either chorion-gonadotrophin (HCG) or an LH-RH an… Show more

“…The matrix elements are defined by B(E2) = M(E2)2/(2 + 1). A similar comparison (1 07) for el ec tric quadrupole moment data (89,(108)(109)(110)(111) is shown in Figure 15. The E2 matrix elements are more complicated than those for the MI an d GT operators because they require specification of the radial wave functions.…”

“…Experimen- . tally there are only two known values, namely, 11.4 (2) efm 2 in the case of 23 Mg [39] and 20.1(3) efm 2 for 25 Mg [40]. Both values are somewhat smaller than the theoretical predictions 13.89 efm 2 and 22.47 efm 2 , respectively.…”
