75-jähriger Patient mit rezidivierenden Hypoglykämien bei Insulinexzess

Abstract: Hirata syndrome is a rare differential diagnosis for recurrent hypoglycemia. This immune-mediated disease is associated with the formation of autoantibodies targeting insulin. Although the syndrome resolves spontaneously in the majority of patients, our case illustrates that individual patients require continuous immunosuppressive therapy.
