This article examines a flourishing Islamic youth movement in Indonesia, #IndonesiaTanpaPacaran or Indonesia without Dating. This movement calls for hijrah (literally means an action of moving to another place) from Western dating habits to ta'aruf or an Islamic practice of getting married without dating among the Muslim millennial. This article aims to explain the emergence of this movement. Drawing approach from social movement theory, the writer argues that this movement is culturally embedded since piety, religious commodification and political resistance against existing political nuance are overshadowed the emergence of this anti-dating movement. It is found out that this movement is an offshoot of banned Islamic organization Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) that continuously struggles to revive the past transnational rule of khalifah (caliphate) in Indonesia. Consequently, the concept of hijrah in social media campaign does not only to promote Islamic lifestyle like ta'aruf but also to promote caliphate as an alternative to secular democracy. This study is presented given the fact that the research on Islamic youth movement in social media is still lack of attention, despite the so-called hijrah movement is legion and may strategically important to make social change through the use of social media.

The identity formation of young Muslims is a complex issue influenced by various factors such as transition, culture, religion, and external factors like parents and environment. Despite facing challenges, young Muslims have the power to adapt, select, and appropriate their cultural identity in the contemporary Islamic era. This study aims to describe the reflection of religious life through three dimensions: belief, worship, and social society. The young Muslim ACM (Ayo Cinta Masjid) community has various social activities and strong religious culture. Through these practices, the ACM community strives to build and apply the practice of religiosity as a fancy religious life identity while maintaining the basic values and Islamic principles. The construction of ACM community religiosity identity begins with various religious activities such as congregational prayers, great recitation (tablīgh akbar), ACM riders subuhan, sharing time weekends, ACM volunteers, prepekan, and other activities. In the worship dimension, the religiosity of the ACM community can be identified from the intensity and the practice of worship in daily life through various religious activities. Meanwhile, in the social dimension, the religiosity of the ACM community is reflected in social life by carrying out positive and constructive activities for others based on religious awareness.

This article studies the transformation of economic theology indicated by the present of financial service access provided by the government to the lowerclass society, particularly those living around pesantren. They so far find difficulty in accessing financial service as they are faced with the requirement of collateral and high interest rate. Responding to such condition, Indonesian government develops micro-sharia financial institution called pesantren-based Bank Wakaf Mikro (BWM). This institution has developed and reached many lower-class people with affordable loan scheme in the last five years. Uniquely, this institution not only provides financial loan but also contains theological and Islamic economic education dimensions through weekly halaqah (study circle) activity. This halaqah becomes a place where the customers of BWM attend pengajian (communal Quran study) held by BWM and perform dhikr (remembering Allah by saying laa ilaha illaallah). Through observation and interview, the author studied the vision of pesantren-based BWM founder, strategy and activities conducted and economic theological transformation in the frame of lower-class community empowerment. This research contributes to encouraging the solidarity-based economic activities in the context of Islamic economic theology.
