We study double Higgs production in photon-photon collisions as a probe of the new dynamics of Higgs interactions in the framework of two Higgs Doublet Models. We analyze neutral Higgs bosons production and decay in the fusion processes, γγ → S i S j , S i = h 0 , H 0 , A 0 , and show that both h 0 h 0 and A 0 A 0 production can be enhanced by threshold effects in the region E γγ ≈ 2m H± .Resonant effects due to the heavy Higgs, H 0 , can also play a role in the cross section enhancement when it is allowed to decay to two light CP-even h 0 or to two light CP-odd A 0 scalars. We have scanned the allowed parameter space of the Two Higgs Doublet Model and found a vast region of the parameter space where the cross section is two orders of magnitude above the Standard Model cross section. We further show that the Standard Model experimental analysis can be used to discover or to constraint the two Higgs doublet model parameter space.

For decades, information systems have been designed for controlling and managing business processes. In the past, these systems were often monolithic in nature and not made for interacting and communicating with other systems. Today, departments and organizations must collaborate, which requires distributed Web-based systems to support the enactment of flexible business processes. In this paper, four architectures of process management systems are investigated by studying the components and the relationships with the tasks that make up the business processes. These different architectures support automation of non-repetitive, customized processes, and are compared based on dimensions of flexibility. This evaluation showed that the process orchestration architecture scored best, but still has its shortcomings. The results from the comparison are used for developing a research agenda that includes the suggestion to develop reference architecture for connecting individual architectural components.

We report the results of a search for a narrow resonance decaying into two photons in 1.1 fb −1 of data collected by the D0 experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider during the period 2002-2006. We find no evidence for such a resonance and set a lower limit on the mass of a fermiophobic Higgs boson of m h f > 100 GeV at the 95% C.L. This exclusion limit exceeds those obtained in previous searches at the Tevatron and covers a significant region of the parameter space B(h f → γγ) vs. m h f which was not accessible at the CERN LEP Collider.
