The purpose of this study was to build a model for classification of motor and functional fitness in adolescent female students. To achieve this purpose, girls in 7 th (n=31), 8 th (n=26), and 9 th grade (n=28) were recruited with appropriate parental consent. To build the classification model, each adolescent performed and number of motor tests and the Stange, Genchi, Serkin tests of functional state. Canonical discriminant function analyses were conducted to determine the motor and functional fitness contributions. Two significant functions (p<.001) resulted with the first function explaining 86.8% and the second 13.2% of the variance between grade levels. Based on the model, it was possible to classify girls' grade and thus biological age based on the performed tests. Structural coefficients from the first canonical discriminant function pointed to substantial difference between girls in 7 th grade compared to 8 th and 9 th grade at the end of motor coordination's development as well as speed, power, and Stange's test results. Structural coefficients of second canonical discriminant function pointed to substantial difference between girls in 8th and 9 th grade based on static and relative arm muscle strength. For improving and fully developing the pedagogic control of girls' motor and functional fitness, the first discriminant function should be used as it explained most of the grade differences.

Abstract. Increase of schoolchildren's motor fitness is connected with organization of pedagogic control at physical culture lessons. It was assumed that the basis for pedagogic control of 16-17 years' age girls' motor fitness was discriminant model. Purpose: to determine methodological approaches to pedagogic control of 16-17 years' age girls' motor fitness. Material: in the research 28 senior form girls (fourteen 16 years' age 14 girls of 17 years' age girls) participated. Materials of the research were processed in statistical analysis program-IBM SPSS 20. Results: in the process of discriminant analysis we created prognostic model for belonging to group. This model builds discriminant function in the form of linear combination of predicting variables, which ensures the best division of groups. Correlation coefficient between calculated values of discriminant function and indicators of belonging to group was r=0.843 and witnesses about high prognostic potential of first canonic function. Conclusions: 16 years' age girls have better speed-power fitness than 17 years' girls. It points at the fact that in 17 th years' age the reason of lagging behind 16 years' age girls is their insufficient motor activity. On the base of canonic coefficients of discriminant function it is possible to classify 16 and 17 years' age girls by level of their motor fitness, according to their age. It is of practical importance for working out effective programs of senior form girls' physical training. Discriminant model can be used for pedagogic control of 16 and 17 years' age girls' fitness.

Abstract:The purpose of the reseach is determination of classification model of senior forms' pupils' motor and functional fitness. Material and methods: for assessment of functional and motor fitness of 9-11 forms' girls results of Shtange's, Genchi's, Serkin's tests and other motor tests were registered. In the research girls of 9 th form (n=24), 10 th form (n=21) and 11 th form (n=26) participated. Results: Normalized coefficients of canonic discriminant function permit to determine correlations of variables' contribution in result of function. The highest contribution in canonic function 1 belongs to variables 3 (pressing ups in lying position), 4 (chin ups) and 7 (Shtange's test): the higher the values of these variables are the greater is function's value. The highest contribution in canonic function 2 belongs to variables 1 (jumps with "additions"), 8 (Genchi's test) and 5 (hanging on bent arms): the higher the values of these variables are the greater is function's value. The first function explains variation of results by 96.9%, the second -by 3.1%. The above said witnesses about possibility to classify age distinctions of 9-11 forms' girls on the basis of testing of their functional, powers and coordination fitness. Structural coefficients of canonic discriminant function witness that it is most closely connected with variables 9 (Serkin's test), & (Shtange's test) and 6 (long jump from the spot): so noticeable difference between 9-11 forms' girls was registered in Serkin's test, Shtange's test and in speed power indicators. Conclusions: for finalizing pedagogic control of 9-11 forms' girls' motor and functional fitness first discriminant function with accent on the most informative variables can be used.
