A 10 Gb/s demultiplexer IC in 0.18 μm CMOS using current mode logic with tolerance to the threshold voltage fluctuation

Abstract: IEEE feedback MCML is larger than that of conventional MCML in the GHz region because of its band width. The feedback MCML is more tolerant to V TH fluctuation than the conventional MCML.The V TH fluctuation of the paired feedback transistors MF1 and MF2 also gives rise to an unbalanced output voltage. However, because the gate length of these transistors is larger than that of other transistors, the V TH fluctuation of MF1 and MF2 is relatively small.
