A Bibliometric Analysis and Review of Supercritical Fluids for the Synthesis of Nanomaterials

Abstract: Since the 1990s, supercritical fluids for the synthesis of nanomaterials have been paid more and more attention by researchers and have gradually become one of the most important ways to prepare nanomaterials. In this study, literature data on “supercritical fluids for the synthesis of nanomaterials” from 1998 to 2020 were obtained from the Web of Science database, and the data were processed and analyzed by the bibliometric method combined with Microsoft office 2019, Origin 2018, VOSviewer, and other software… Show more

“…Thus, the properties can be classified as between the liquid and gaseous states. 135 Among the various SFCs, carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) is used most frequently, while water and other substances can also be applied. CO 2 must be pressured above 73 bar and 31 °C to enter the critical phase.…”

“…Nowadays, due to the unique properties of electrospun nanofibers, and the rapid development of modern electrospinning technology, electrospun nanofibers have been used in various industries. Bibliometric analysis has been widely used to summarize research trends for detecting the state for a particular research field [27][28][29]. In this paper, bibliometric analysis was employed to investigate the application of electrospun nanofibers in dentistry.…”

“…It has been successfully adopted for the production of micro- and nanoparticles [ 7 , 8 , 9 ] and porous 3-D devices [ 10 , 11 , 12 ], for the extraction of active compounds from various vegetable matrices [ 13 , 14 , 15 ], and for cleaning [ 16 ]. Moreover, CO 2 density—and its solvent power—can be modulated by the changing operative pressure and temperature [ 17 , 18 , 19 ], controlling, in this way, the selectivity and the kinetics of the process [ 20 , 21 , 22 ]. Finally, CO 2 shows a large chemical affinity with almost all the organic solvents at mild process conditions, as a rule, at 40 °C and pressures near to 100 bar [ 23 , 24 , 25 ].…”
