A Case of Liver Metastasis Originated From Early Gastric Cancer With Long-Term Survival

Abstract: A resectable case of liver metastasis from gastric cancer is rare and has a poor prognosis. We treated a patient with liver metastasis from early gastric cancer in a 65-year-old man who have a 5-year survival. The patient who had undergone a distal partial gastrectomy for early gastric cancer at another hospital 4 years earlier was found to have a metastatic tumor invaded the remnant stomach and pancreas body with high CA19-9 value (2,490U/ml).
