A (des)construção identitária do sujeito caboclo: “que caboquice é essa?”

Abstract:From the perspective of a study on linguistic identity and otherness, the present study approaches the theme of the cabocla identity constructed by the vision of the other. Therefore, we aim to identify the movements of meaning and the networks of discursivization that point to the production of subjectivities and identities of caboclo / caboco in the social network facebook. For this, we use the theoretical-methodological subsidies of the Materialist Analysis of the Althusserian Discourse (1960Discourse ( ), pecheutiana (1988, articulated with the discursive studies of Bakhtin (2006) and the Philosophy of Language. In this perspective, the study undertaken here resulted in the appearance of images and representations expressed in language that point to the heterogeneous constitution of the caboclo subject. Such materialities make explicit the construction of mainly negative images of this subject, because he occupies a subordinated and inferior position in language and society.
