A Distributed Distribution and Scheduling Algorithm of Educational Resources Based on Vector Space Model

Abstract: To explore the distributed dispatching and scheduling algorithm of educational resources, based on the vector space model, the user and resource description model is built. In addition, the user interest representation method based on the background and tense vector space model (BTVSM) is proposed, and the distributed architecture based on the scheduling server is used to provide the personalized distribution service to the resource users. At the same time, the task scheduling model and algorithm are analyzed.… Show more

“…The literature established a user and resource description model, a vector space-based user interest representation method, and a scheduling server for distribution services [11]. The server is optimized by an ant colony algorithm, effectively solving the distribution problem between resource user groups and distributed scheduling centers to provide personalized services for educational resource users.…”

“…Additionally, it allowed us to understand problems, such as the needs of the academic programs, the needs of adequate spaces to the demand of students, special population characteristics of the population, needs of the students and/or teachers, given the fact that the campus are located in old construction sites, they lack an elevator or escalator to access the second floor, and theoretical or practical classes, in general terms the context where the problem occurs. With participation in the process, it was evidenced that the dedication time for the management of academic scenarios in accordance with the requirements of the academic programs took longer than it should imply; the process has its beginning in contemplating the demand of students in the different subjects to later organize the academic schedules and activities that demand time and that are the basis for starting the process of assigning academic scenarios, which does not allow starting the allocation of resources further delaying the assignment; this without mentioning that the academic schedules consolidation culminated on the weekend prior to the academic activities start [16], which means that the person in charge of the space distribution process has only 2 days to plan the university resources, an amount that is described in Table 1.…”

“…Rational allocation of learning resources plays a very important role in safeguarding people's rights to education and improving the quality of education; in other words, people's rights to education should not be differentiated due to the unbalanced allocation of learning resources. This is also the common goal pursued by education and teaching systems at different levels [6][7][8][9]. Nowadays, with the emergence of various forms of learning resource services such as online learning and network resource libraries, e-learning and ubiquitous learning have become common learning methods for learners [10][11][12][13][14].…”
