A facile synthetic route to novel thermotropic liquid crystalline polymers and characterization of their mesophases

Abstract: We have succeeded in preparing novel liquid crystalline polymers of low melting temperature by a melt reaction between diepoxy molecules and a primary monoamine (aniline).
