A low complexity calibration method of gain and phase error for arrays with arbitrary geometry

Abstract: Gain and phase error calibration of array elements is important in engineering practice.In this paper , a low complexity calibration method of gain and phase error for arrays with arbitrary geometry was analysised. In the far field,using a single sourec with exact orientation, the method computs the gain and phase error according to the first column of the covariance matrix of received data without eigen value decomposition.
