“…This part of the analysis takes into account whether "a metaphor involves the projection of a source domain onto a target domain" (Allan, 2007, p. 351), where the source domain images evoke target domain meanings through "literal" (or "tenor") terms and "figurative" (or "vehicle") terms (Ortony et al, 1978, p. 924). In this context, what may appear as a superficial accounting metaphor on initial reading may become more meaningful when deep structures that underlie accounting metaphors are apprehended (Brown, 2018). The deep structure of metaphorical analysis with its attendant foundations of the realist epistemology (Brown, 2020(Brown, , 2019 helps overcome the primacy given by accounting academics to "the essential literalness of language and its tools of formal (mathematical) logic and classic set theory" (Cameron and Low, 1999, p. 78).…”

“…The theory of sensibility owes much to the work of Eliot, who was concerned that poetic expressions of thought that were not linked with feelings or emotions rendered a form of dissociation of sensibility for the reader (Eliot, 1927). To counter this dissociation, he ensured that The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock, published in 1905, and The Waste Land, published in 1922, were suffused with sensibility (Brown, 2018(Brown, , 2019). Eliot's source of theoretical constructs on sensibility was informed by the philosophy of the post-Hegelian British idealist philosophy Bradley, who argued that through a process of objective correlative a feeling may be objectified to render it as an object of knowledge (Frank, 1972).…”

“…Keempat, pandangan mengenai prophet atau nabi (Zubairu et al, 2019). Ke lima, pandangan mengenai Tuhan sebagai realitas absolut (Abdullah, 2015 Brown (2018) menyatakan bahwa intuisi memiliki fungsi yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan yaitu menyangkut kehidupan material serta spi ritual. Hal ini tentu saja bertolak belakang dengan ilmu modern yang lebih mengede pankan rasionalitas dan objektivitas.…”
