“…Human reliability analysis (HRA) deals with evaluating the risks caused by human error (Boring & Bye, 2008;Boring, Oxstrand, & Hildebrandt, 2009;Ung & Shen, 2011). In general, HRA has three fundamental functions (Ung & Shen, 2011): the identification of human error (Antonovsky, Pollock, & Straker, 2010;O'Connor, O'Dea, & Melton, 2007), the prediction of the likelihood associated (Gertman, Blackman, Marble, Byers, & Smith, 2005;van de Merwe, Øie, & Gould, 2012), and the reduction of the likelihood if required (Boring, 2009;Sheridan, 2008). There are numerous HRA methods that provide procedures for these fundamental functions, such as technique for human error rate prediction (Vaurio, 2001), human error assessment and reduction technique (Williams, 1988), and others.…”
