A Mitologia da Ineficiência nas Organizações Solidárias: Em Busca da Ressignificação de um Conceito

Abstract

Resumo:O ensaio teórico propõe discutir o conceito de eficiência no contexto da economia solidária. Embora a eficiência em geral seja considerada neutra, a-histórica e a-política, na realidade é um construto social, deliberado por grupo e constituído de acordo com os objetivos estabelecidos. No caso das organizações solidárias, há que se considerar não somente as variáveis econômicas, mas elementos que envolvem aspectos políticos, sociais e culturais. Além disso, é preciso desconstruir alguns mitos que cercam as organizações solidárias, colocando-se em questão as ineficiências que, em geral, são apontadas em virtude da opção por uma lógica não mercantil e coletivista.Palavras-chave: Economia solidária. THE MYTHOLOGY OF INEFFICIENCY IN SOLIDARITY ORGANIZATIONS:In search of a reframing concept Abstract:Theoretical work aims to discuss the concept of efficiency in the context of the solidarity economy. Although the overall efficiency is considered as neutral, a-historical and a-political, in reality is a social construct, decided by each group and constituted in accordance with the objectives set. In the case of organizations in solidarity, we must consider not only the economic variables, but elements which involve political, social and cultural. Furthermore, it is necessary to deconstruct some myths surrounding solidarity organizations, putting in question the inefficiencies that often are cited due to their choice of a non-market logic and collectivist.

“…It is considering the observation of scholars on the existence, in SE, of principles and values that guide reciprocity that transcend the economic sense, such as self-management, cooperation and solidarity in relationships (Arruda, 2008;Ostrom, 2000;Singer, 2008).
