A model for developing evidence-based health tourism: the case of 'alpine health region Salzburg, Austria'.

Abstract: This chapter discusses how an approach to evidence-based health tourism product development can be used to effectively position tourism destinations. It puts forward an integrated conceptual model of natural resource-based health tourism product development based on examples of good practice that, it is argued, could act as a conceptual framework for developing future evidence-based health tourism products.
