A New Mannich Base N-[Phenyl(pyrrolidin-1- Yl)methyl]acetamide - Synthesis, Spectral Properties, Antibacterial and Antifungal Studies of Some of Its Metal Complexes
Abstract:ABSTRACTcoordination to the metal ion through the CNC nitrogen, carbonyl oxygen and amido nitrogen atoms. Based on the magnetic and electronic studies, all the complexes are high spin octahedral geometry. The conductance measurements indicate that the non-electrolytic nature of the complexes. The biological activities of the ligand and complexes have been screened in vitro against some bacteria and pathogenic fungi to study their capacity to inhibit their growth.
