“…Moreover, of all the materials that have been studied, the 4150 steels exhibited the lowest corrosive resistance. Similar behaviour was also observed in [19], whereby decreasing the anode/cathode area ratio a higher current density was obtained. Additionally, in [20] the galvanic corrosion behaviour of laser-welded austenitic stainless steel with duplex or super duplex stainless steel was evaluated.…”

“…CNTs are known to have excellent conductivity, thus a faster degradation rate is monitored in Zn-CNTs compared with Zn. On the other hand, the corrosion rates of metals are related to the area ratio of the cathode to anode, and a higher ratio implies a faster corrosion rate. , CNTs have a large aspect ratio, which is beneficial to extend the contact ratio of the cathode to the anode. This may also contribute to the acceleration in the degradation rate of Zn-CNTs.…”

“…When the iron-based metals are submerged in the present of corrosion solutions, such as food waste fermentation solution and waste leachate, the metal corrosion begins and the surface of metals appears the rust. Generally, if the surface rust of metals can be accurately recognized, the corrosion degree of metals can be assessed [3]. However, the surface rust of different metals is difficult for recognition, and thus the surface rust of metals has not be regard as a quantity index for metal corrosion [4].…”
