A Novel Dynamic Dispatching Method for Bicycle-Sharing System

Abstract: With the rapid development of sharing bicycles, unreasonable dispatching methods are likely to cause a series of issues, such as resource waste and traffic congestion in the city. In this paper, a new dynamic scheduling method is proposed, named Tri-G, so as to solve the above problems. First of all, the whole visualization information of bike stations was built based on a Spatio-Temporal Graph (STG), then Gaussian Mixture Mode (GMM) was used to group individual stations into clusters according to their geogra… Show more

“…For food transactions safety, a blockchain-based food transaction system has been developed in [ 12 ] to ensure the transparency of the transactions, with the effectiveness of this system also verified in [ 13 ]. For food quality and safety, a blockchain-based visualization method according to [ 14 , 15 ] has been proposed to trace the source of problematic products and observe the flow of related risks [ 16 ]. The data in the blockchain can provide a basis for precise regulations, but there is currently a lack of suitable data analysis methods to maximize the effect of the data recorded in the blockchain.…”

“…Accurate prediction of bicycle rental demand is an important prerequisite for public bicycle dispatching and PBS system rebalancing [15,22]. In [16], Mimura et al proposed a time-series generation model to predict the number of bicycle transfers per hour and the bicycle rental demand.…”
