“…Lymphopaenia may indicate that the immune response is suppressed and this condition has been associated with adverse cardiac outcomes. Reduction of lymphocytes has reflected elevation of serum catecholamines and cortisol levels formed during a systemic stress response [25]. An elevated NLR is an independent predictor of nonvalvular AF [25,26] which is consistent with our results.…”

SYNTAX score determines the complexity of coronary artery disease and help us to predict major advanced cardiovascular events after revascularization.…”

“…40 The LMR has been recognized as a potentially predictive and prognostic maker for inflammation in distinct populations. 7,41 The LMR was also found to be related to diabetic retinopathy and can be an independent risk factor in vascular pathologies such as coronary artery and peripheral vascular disease. 42,43 Although the data on the MHR are limited, some studies revealed that MHR was also an important and valuable variable for cardiovascular events and MetS.…”

“…Furthermore, the elevated levels of hemoglobin11 and hematocrit15 have been associated with the CSFP. In addition to these regular complete blood cell count components, some novel biomarkers have also been found to be associated with the CSFP, including elevated neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio,14 increased platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio,16 and decreased lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio 18. All these novel biomarkers are inflammation-based and have been useful in diagnosing other inflammatory diseases.…”
