A Patient-Specific Airway Branching Model for Mechanically Ventilated Patients

Abstract: Background. Respiratory mechanics models have the potential to guide mechanical ventilation. Airway branching models (ABMs) were developed from classical fluid mechanics models but do not provide accurate models of in vivo behaviour.
