“…This suggests that the negative charge is delocalized over the whole ligand and stabilized by the resonance. In addition, N-O bond lengths in complex 1 fall in the ranges found for the corresponding complexes [ 16 , 33 ]. The Pt-S bond length is 2.38012(19) Å and is similar to the values seen in the similar complex {[Pt 2 (SCN) 2 (C 2 H 8 N 2 ) 4 ](ClO 4 ) 4 } n [ 34 ].…”

“…[94] A Pd complex, 173 with general representation PdL 2 shows anticancer potentials against colon carcinoma and melanoma (C26 and B16-F0) cell lines being tested during in vitro experiments. [95] The IC 50 value determined for the test compound (2.7, 2.0 μM) was compared with cisplatin (17, 26 μM) which reveals that this type of complexes can be better metallodrugs in cancer chemotherapy. A Pd complex 174 stabilized by ethylenediamine and a py ligand was tested for its preliminary antitumor efficacy in comparison to cisplatin.…”

“…Also, Feizi-Dehnayebi et al (2021) recorded that BSA forms a hydrogen bond with His246 residue with the length of 3 Aͦ and there are van der Waals forces between Pd(II) complex and Ser104, Lys106, Tyr147, Leu103, Ile202, Cys245, Gly247, Lys242 and Gln203 residues. Alinaghi et al (2020) published that a hydrogen bond between the Pd(II) complex oxygen atom and Glu 125 (2.2 Å) is observed. In the same paper, the amino acid residues of BSA, which interacted with the complex, are Phe36, Pro113, Lys114, Leu115, Lys116, Leu122, Glu125, Phe133, Lys136, Tyr139 and Tyr160.…”
