Over the last few decades, considerable development in the field of homogeneous transition metal‐catalyzed CH functionalization has been achieved. Nonrecyclable homogeneous catalyst continues to be a major limitation in the field. Heterogenization of homogeneous catalysts allows reusability, making the systems economically and ecologically sustainable. The development of suitable Pd‐based heterogeneous catalysts is an active area of research motivated by the success of the Pd‐based homogeneous catalyst. This article summarizes the Pd‐based heterogeneous platforms for CH functionalization. The article has been divided into two broad sections: (i) Pd‐complex‐based heterogeneous catalysts and (ii) Pd nanoparticles‐based heterogeneous catalysts. Both sections are further divided into sub‐sections based on the supporting platforms used for anchoring the metal. In each section, the efficiency, site selectivity, and reusability of the Pd‐based catalysts are summarized.
