A pragmatic calcium‐based initiator for the synthesis of polycaprolactone copolymers

Abstract: Further understanding of the mechanism of the controlled ring‐opening polymerisation of ϵ‐caprolactone in the melt (70‐133 °C) using a simple calcium hydride‐based initiator has been made.
