Abstract: Background: For caesarean sections, local anesthetics e.g. bupivacaine, chloroprocaine, levobupivacaine, lidocaine, ropivacaine, and tetracaine have been used generally in combination usually with opioids like morphine or fentanyl or its derivatives.
