A Rare Cause of Stomach Gangrene: Necrotizing Gastritis

Abstract: Necrosis of the stomach is rare. It occurs when there is vascular anomalies, gastric volvulus or herniation and in infectious gastritis. We report a case in which infectious gastritis leads to a necrotizing gastritis that is treated with urgent gastrectomy.
