A rare complication of full‐thickness rectal prolapse mimicking tumour

Abstract: Many factors in obesity are associated with colon cancer including increased blood levels of leptin, insulin, IL-6, TNF-a and decreased blood level of adiponectin. These increase signal pathways of importance to carcinogenesis and prognosis including PI3K ⁄ Akt, MAPK and STAT3 [7].
